I feel this book has a great story plot. The story takes a little while to take off and get in to the thick of the story. I also felt that the story repeated it’s on that background of the main characters. This is a well written book. I loved the description of things from beat sheets to how the room looked, you feel like you are right there see what they are.

Jess is hiding from her pass and Hunter is trying to keep from losing his. They both have broke pieces to them. They both have a very strong attraction to each other can they find the right road that will bring them to happiness or will what the have crump!

I am looking forward to reading more from Samantha I think she has a lot of talent.

“I’m not in trouble. Really, I’m not. I mean who would want to kill me? I know bankers aren’t exactly popular—” she lets loose a shaky laugh “—but I’m harmless.”
Harmless? Not sure about that. Jess sends my heart racing, makes my skin clammy. She’s driving me insane. Harmless? No way.
“What do you want me to do?” I ask.
“Do?”
“Shall I stick around?”

I’ve always had a calling to help people, even at the age of 5 I created hospitals in my basement and gave my baby dolls shots in the butt. As much as nursing is my career, writing is my passion. I’m from Iowa but I’ve only seen a farm a couple of times.

I’m a registered nurse in obstetrics and I work every weekend night…again not much partying going on with me.

When I was young I was the bad kid all the parents warned their kids about, trouble followed me everywhere and if it wasn’t following I was looking for it.

I count stairs whenever I climb or descend them, I know how many steps are in every stair case I use frequently, and this would come in handy if I’m ever blind or in a power outage.

I hate to cook and therefore suck at it, ask my five kids they will agree.

Before I wrote Dark Kiss I hated even writing on a birthday card, I guess it’s the subject matter that drives me.

My favorite flowers are lilacs, I think they are considered flowers right? I love to sit outside and just breathe in that scent

About the Author

Jani has been a bookworm all her life – as a voracious reader, she would gladly spend her last dollar on a book. She’s fascinated that for the mere price of a book (often less than the price of a coffee!) she can escape her life for a while and see the world through someone else’s eyes.

Jani has a wicked sense of humor, loves the color red, and is a fiery Aries.

In her ‘other’ life, Jani is a business woman and a scientist – a creative scientist though – she formulates skin care products and brews up concoctions in her lab…*evil laugh*

Jani has 2 beautiful children who have grown into amazing young adults. Her hubby takes care of her while she writes by making sure her stash of M&Ms never run out and supports her dream of growing up to be an author. They happily call Western Australia home.

One of the questions Jani is asked most, is if she has been to all the places she describes in her books. The answer is YES! Besides reading and writing, her favorite ‘thing’ is traveling.

Ever since her childhood, she’s wanted to be a writer and now that she has finally faced her fear of failure head on, she’s discovered her own unique style of writing and her ‘voice’. She loves to burn the midnight oil to tell all the stories in her head. (Yeah, those characters are a noisy bunch!)
