These two fly off the pages and draw you into their struggles to survive. I love the fight and determination they both show. They are both set to get their own selfish wants out of their agreement, but keep shown that it not always going to be what you want but more of what you need to learn to make it through life!

The fight of all fights comes at you in book 3. Mercy comes out with guns blazing and determined to not lose. Sade is determined to walk away heartbroken but thinking he is putting Mercy in a safer place. So much comes to rock Sade world and has his true darkness all coming to the light.

Sade takes you to a point in this one where you think there is no coming back for him, that all is lost. That’s when life show you just what you have and what come be if you are willing to give it your all.

I could not put this one down. I think out of all three this one is my favorite. You are shown that not only is love possible in the darkest of time but that if you are willing to fight you will always win the bad in things.

After he enters my cell, he closes the only window. The first thing I do is get up from my bed and drop down on my knees. I kneel in front of him as he comes toward me and stops right in front of me.

I still have trouble believing that she did that—that she voluntarily placed herself in the hands of psychotic terrorists to save my life. She didn’t do it out of some naive conviction that they wouldn’t harm her. No, my pet knew exactly what they were capable of, and she still had the courage to act.

I take in her words with greedy, shameless pleasure. I can’t get enough of her love. I can’t get enough of her. I wanted her initially because of her resemblance to Maria, but my childhood friend had never evoked even a fraction of emotions Nora makes me feel. Black Widow is a book that you have to go in to with a very open mind; it’s a very dark story. Parts did seem to drag for me but not to the point that I didn’t enjoy the book. I think Polly did a great job on keeping you entertained in the book and ever better job at keeping you guessing with the outcome of this one. I didn’t see the outcome of this book coming till the very end which is very surprising for me because I can usually guess what way the author is going to take or at least have a clue. I’m not use to this dark of a romance it was a change for once. This is not your normal romance troubled story it much darker than that, if you can handle that you will enjoy the book.

Through the haze of sleep, I felt hands on me. Cold and rough. I thought for a fleeting moment that it might have been Kyle.

Then, I remembered our break up.

It had happened weeks ago, but maybe that part was the dream. My memory was fucked and I couldn’t latch onto a thought long enough to ride it out of the fog.

“Did you make a decision?” Kyle asked.

I rolled over and pulled the comforter up to my neck. I had decided that I didn’t want to make a decision—mostly that I didn’t appreciate him trying to force me into a decision when I had told him time after time that I didn’t want him moving into my apartment even after six months together.
