Whew, where to begin. I’m still trying to cool down from this hot read. You talk about hot this one is that and more! Just love them cowboys that seem to know just what they are doing. This read is not only hot but very well written. I could not put this one down. It’s a short read, but so much goes on that you feel like you have a full read on your hands. The flow of the story is amazing and smooth. The story just takes off and leaves you panting for more!

Jakob and Kate light up the pages of this book. Both very strong characters they build and play on each other as the story progresses. They both have faced and continue to face their own vices. When Jakob takes the job of hunting this mountain lion down, he is looking for some little quite time to himself; little does he know he is getting so much more. Kate refuses to have anyone try and tell her what to do or how to do it. She sure isn’t going to have someone come to her land to hunt the big cat down without her being a part of it. What they find is so much hotter than the big cat!

Great reads now it’s time to go cool off some so I can get ready for the next book in this series. If it’s as hot as this one I might need some ice!

T Gephart is an indie author from Melbourne, Australia.

T’s approach to life has been somewhat unconventional. Rather than going to University, she jumped on a plane to Los Angeles, USA in search of adventure. While this first trip left her somewhat underwhelmed and largely depleted of funds it fueled her appetite for travel and life experience.

With a rather eclectic resume, which reads more like the fiction she writes than an actual employment history, T struggled to find her niche in the world.

While on a subsequent trip the United States in 1999, T met and married her husband. Out of this need, she decided to pen her first book, A Twist of Fate. T set herself the challenge to write something that was interesting, compelling and yet easy enough to read that was still enjoyable. Pulling from her own past “colorful” experiences and the amazing personalities she has surrounded herself with, she had no shortage of inspiration. With a strong slant on erotic fiction, her core characters are empowered women who don’t have to sacrifice their femininity. You can’t find a better MC Book!

I have to say that I loved this one just as much if not more than the first MC Chronicles Vol. 1. This was such a pull with Bink and the things going on in her life! When a tough event sends her running to create a new life you really want to grab her and drag her back! As you get more into the story you see the way she made some of the choices she did, but you still want to drag her home! She never refuses to give up and say screw it. She finds a path and pulls herself up from a difficult place. Then she is pushed back to face some of the things she ran from to begin with. You are on an amazing ride. I wanted to drag her back to whom her heart loved, but yet you know she needs to find her own way. There is more of the Sexy Big in this one and we can’t forget Gunz! Great emotional read!

I shift closer to him and wrap my arms around his waist. I lay my head on his chest and breathe him in. His shoulders relax, if only slightly. The need to comfort him is overwhelming. I want to wash it all away for him, hold the world at bay while I erase the worry permanently etched in his forehead.

“Everything is going to be okay, West. I just know it,” I lie. I don’t know that everything will be okay. I don’t know anything at all.

We sit in electrified silence, the crackling of dead leaves under us the only sound. I memorize the feel of him, the smell of him, the rhythm of his breathing. I’m lost in the moment, already anticipating the loss that’s to come.

“I leave in a month.”

The words cut through the silence like a judgment. Instead of hurt, I’m filled with resolve. I won’t let him push me away anymore. I’m done playing by his rules.

I rise up to meet the storm brewing in his eyes. His hand wraps firmly around my neck, and his eyes dart hungrily to my lips. I swallow nervously and refuse to look away.

If he turns his head or pulls my hair, I swear I’m going to tackle him to the ground.

My admission is all he needs. He devours me, a tangle of lips, teeth, tongues, and hands. I don’t know where I end and he begins. I’m exhilarated and relieved all at once.

I run my hands down his arms and grip his wrists tightly. I pull away and look into his hooded eyes.
