Love this book. I have been on a reading craze lately! As I have said before I normal stick to authors I know or who have been recommended by family and friends. I have to say that I’m very glad that I followed some advice from other reviews on this book. Ryan Winfield is a wonderful author. I give this book 5 stars out of 5!
You will follow the struggles of Jane while she deals with the death of her daughter and the pain of the lost. Trying to come to some peace and trying to find some well need answers she come to meet Caleb. Thinking she will find some answers she takes Caleb in and finds that she has an attraction to him. Falling in love with Caleb brings it own set of struggles. Jane question If she should follow her heart, if she should know happiness after the loss of Melody and if she can over come her fear.
” Okay. I don’t know if I have the right words, but love is this feeling I get when I look at you. A feeling that as long as you’re near me, or in the world even, Then everything will be okay. That everything has meaning. It’s as if the world was all shades of sepia—-like an old movie reel—- and that everywhere I looked I saw suffering and pain. Then I heard your voice, I saw your face, and somehow the color came into everything.”
Just when you think Jane has found some form of happiness things seem to come crashing in. You ask your self just how much can one person take before they give up. We are always told we will never be giving more than you can handle for Jane she question just how much is too much. Jane I have to stay is a very strong charter and she makes your see that you can always face more than you feel you can.
