First Quilt

Standard

This was my very first quilt I ever did. I can remember walking past the material I used several time before I told my self just get the material and try it. So I had already ask a few question and found out what size to cut my squares and what size seam to sew the squares together at. I normally use a 1/2″  seam just to give me more space to work with, I know the true seam should be a 1/4 ” seam. I did do a few things wrong with my first quilt. One big mistake I made was that I quilted it or should say stitched in the ditch after I put the binding on.  I would be the one to do something like that.  Even with all the mistakes I made with the first one I would say it turned out to be a good-looking quilt.

My very first quilt that I ever made and Blaze had to get in the picture too!

I was really happy with the outcome of it. When I first started putting it together I didn’t think it was going to look as good as it end up coming out ! So One thing I have to say to anyone think of starting to quilt is try it you never know if you’ll enjoy it till you have tried!
